HCHA :: The Haliburton County Horsemen's Association

Welcome to the Haliburton County Horsemen's Association website. We are located in Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada. Most of our members live in the Haliburton and Minden area but we also have members from Muskoka, Kawartha Lakes and the greater Toronto area.

The Haliburton County Horsemen's Association has four Gymkhana shows a year, where our members compete to gain points for year end awards. Our Miniature Horse show combines fun classes with traditional show classes. We pride ourselves in being a fun, friendly horse club who not only holds horse events, but social events for our members to connect. Owning a horse is not a requirement to join the club, as we have a diverse membership base with owners and non-owners alike. Our club members are horse owners and enthusiasts who partake in pleasure riding, showing and driving. Collectively we own Arabians, Haflingers, Paints, Appaloosas, Quarter Horses, Miniature Horses and a variety of crosses.

Don't own own a horse or pony? Maybe you are just interested in horses and don't know how to get started? Why not join us and get involved? Many of our members have years worth of experience and would be happy to talk with you about how to get started with your own horse.
